Earlier this week, Travis Scott made headlines as he was reported to have been engaged in a public brawl in a club in New York City.

Reports say Scott was seen punching a sound engineer in Club Nebula in Midtown Manhattan in New York after they got into a heated verbal disagreement with him as he took over the reins of the DJ booth.

According to AllHipHop, the "Sicko Mode" rapper will be voluntarily turning himself in to the New York Police Department after his alleged altercation with the sound engineer.

However, Scott has left New York following the altercation last Mar. 1, 2023. His representatives, including his lawyers, are working to fly him back to the Big Apple as he was already in California.

It is expected that next week, Scott will turn himself in at the New York Police Department for questioning.

NBC News reported that Scott was accused of having a verbal fight with the 52-year-old Sound Engineer of Club Nebula. But after a few moments, the conversation got heated, prompting Scott to land a punch on the left side of the engineer's face.

TMZ, on the other hand, has learned that the damages to Scott's altercation have racked up to $12,000 in damages.

It was recently learned that aside from punching the sound engineer, he also ripped out his monitor, and also broke his speakers - amounting to a hefty sum.

Should the case push through, Scott is facing more legal trouble as he could be booked for criminal mischief and another misdemeanor assault with one count each.

Meanwhile, his representatives have previously debunked the altercation, saying that it was "exaggerated."

"While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing," Travis Scott's lawyer Mitchell Schuster told TMZ in a statement.

The outlet has also obtained a video, which is now going viral on social media, showing the moment where Scott pushed back the engineer, believed to be the start of their heated argument.

It was reported that the engineer lowered the volume of the music which angered Scott.
