Lady Gaga is going to perform at this year's Oscar Awards after all.

According to Variety's exclusive report, the multi-awarded artist cleared her busy and booked schedule so she can attend and perform "Hold My Hand," the song from the official soundtrack for "Top Gun: Maverick."

Apparently, even Gaga herself was going back and forth with the decision of whether she is going to perform at the award show or not.

"We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp. She is in the middle of shooting a movie right now," said Glenn Weiss, the Oscars' executive producer and showrunner.

He is referring to the upcoming movie "Joker: Folie à Deux," where Gaga is starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, and Zazie Beetz.

"Here, we are honoring the movie industry and what it takes to make a movie after a bunch of back and forth,

"It didn't feel like she can get a performance to the caliber that we're used to with her and that she is used to. So, she is not going to perform on the show," Weiss said before.

However, Gaga probably managed to work around all her filming days with the cast and crew of the next "Joker" movie, since she is in fact going to perform at the 2023 Oscars after all.

Lady Gaga: Oscar Nominee

Not only is Gaga a highly regarded artist in the music industry, and recognized for her talents by the various music awarding bodies, but her work has also been highly regarded by the film industry in recent years.

Gaga's "Hold My Hand" was nominated for this year's Best Orginal Song; other nominees include "Lift Me Up" by Rihanna from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"; "Applause" by Sofia Carson and Diane Warren from "Tell It Like a Woman"; "This is a Life" by Stephanie Hsu, David Bryne and Son Lux from "Everything Everywhere All at Once"; and "Naatu Naatu" by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava from "RRR."

According to Billboard, this will be the first time in three years that all the nominated songs will be performed.

This is not Gaga's first time performing or even getting nominated at the Oscars.

In fact, back in 2019, she performed her award-winning song "Shallow" with Bradley Cooper.

The song earned the "Bad Romance" singer her first Oscar Award; it also won a Golden Globe, a Broadcast Film Critics Association award and a Grammy.
