Billie Eilish gave fans a glimpse of what's happening inside the biggest event in fashion as she recently posed a snap with some of the celebrity attendees; did she break a strict rule imposed by Anna Wintour?

According to Billboard, the musician had photographes stunned with her outfit by Simone Rocha and corset by Agent Provocateur.

Later that evening, the singer posed for a snap inside the iconic bathroom of the Metropolitan Museum along with some of the biggest celebrities like "The Little Mermaid" star Halle Bailey, "Stranger Things" actress Maya Hawke, and Elle Fanning.

She also poked fun at the "no smoking" sign on the bathroom mirror.

Did Billie Eilish Break a Strict Rule?

According to Live Mint, the use of social media was banned at the venue during Met Gala. The rule was imposed in 2015 in order for celebrities to lessen their usage of mobile phones during the event.

"The use of phones for photography and social media will not be permitted inside the gala," a notice reads.

However, in 2017, it appears that Kylie Jenner broke the rule as she posed for a mirror selfie alongside the biggest stars in different fields including her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, Brie Larson, Paris Jackson, Frank Ocean, and many more.

As per Billie Eilish, it's unclear if the "Bad Guy" songstress was warned for her bathroom selfie.

Doja Cat Also Broke a Rule

Aside from Eilish, it appears that Doja Cat also broke a strict rule at the event as she went viral on social media after she was spotted vaping at the carpet.

The "I Don't Do Drugs" hitmaker was waiting in line to be interviewed by Emma Chamberlain. In the background, the singer looked chill at first until whipping out her vape and smoking it.

As of this writing, the musician, who vowed to quit vaping after her surgery, has not addressed the issue online. It's also unclear if she got reprimanded for her actions.

Regarding other celebrities who were spotted smoking at the event, several stars like Bella Hadid and Dakota Johnson faced backlash from fans after breaking the rule in the bathroom.

An insider who claimed to be a donor for the gala said they were insulted to see the big stars smoking in the bathroom because the art collection at the Metropolitan Museum needs to be kept 100% smoke-free.
