Graham Nash opened up about not knowing what he did right to be where he is right now.

For years since he debuted in the 1950s, Nash has been sharing his musical talent, especially when he became a member of Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Now at 81, the singer admitted to having thoughts about what he did to achieve such a high level of success when others could not accomplish it.

Graham Nash Wonders How He Became Successful

Nash is set to extend his legacy through his upcoming album, "Now." The music project will highlight the musician's thoughts about his life, regrets, and uncertainties about his present career.

He told Spin during a new interview that it makes him wonder what he did good to be worthy of what he has. He also noted that there are other musicians who deserve to have the same level of success - or beyond that - but have not scored it yet.

"I particularly feel it when I go back to Manchester in England. I still see my old friends in there still digging graves, and they still hate their boss and they still hate work," he said. "And I go, 'Why me? Why was it me that left and got rewarded by all this success?'"

Nash told the interviewer how he never found his answer and that he always asked himself about it. However, he somewhat found some light as he learned how "life is short."

The musician positively shared that life is about the choices one person makes. For his part, he knew he did the right choices to reach 81 and still rocks the stage.

Asked whether he is going anywhere soon, Nash expressed his desire to go on for another 20 years to share more of what he has.
