Los Angeles is celebrating their very own Pride festival once again, a tradition and celebration that has been happening for over 50 years, and you would not want to miss out.

The highly anticipated Pride and music festival will be held at the LA State Historic Park on June 9 to 10.

Back in March, the LA Pride website unveiled the first two headliners of the event: Grammy Award winners and music superstars Mariah Carey and Megan Thee Stallion.

The Allies

The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer is a known ally of the LGBTQIA+ community for years and years now.

Carey is known to sport a rainbow blazer or shirt every once in a while, and to top it all off, she even released an album titled "Rainbow," released in 1999.

In 2016, she was bestowed with the Ally Award at the GLAAD Awards, where she famously broke down the letters of the LGBTQIA+: "We got L: legendary. G: gorgeous. B: beautiful, all of you beautiful people. T: tantalizing. And even Q for quality.

"Thank you for the unconditional love ... and I wish all of you love, peace, harmony."

Upon being declared as one of the headliners for LA Pride 2023, the "Fantasy" singer expressed her gratitude and excitement towards the community and the event.

"I'm thrilled and honored to be a part of LA Pride 2023," she said. "I am happy to be back in person celebrating with the LGBTQIA+ community here in Southern California and throughout all of the lands!!! Let's come together to celebrate love, inclusion, and Pride."

On the other hand, Megan Thee Stallion was just as enthusiastic and grateful to be included in this year's lineup.

"I can't wait to headline LA Pride in the Park and celebrate the phenomenal LGBTQIA+ community," the "Body" singer exclaimed.

"This incredible event advocates for diversity, inclusivity and equality, so I'm honored to perform and have a blast with all of the Hotties in attendance."

LA Pride

LA Pride board president Geralrd Garth expressed his gratitude towards the headliners, as well as other performers, announced like RuPaul's Drag Race stars, Symone, Gigi Goode, and more.

"Mariah Carey and Megan Thee Stallion are the perfect artists to headline LA Pride in the Park this year as we expand to two days," they declared. "These empowering and iconic women are sure to take the stage by storm to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and will undoubtedly make this year's LA Pride in the Park an unforgettable experience."
