Takeoff's death sent ripples on social media on how devastating losing someone so young can be. The Migos rapper, 28 at the time of his death, is one of the most prominent rappers in Atlanta, Georgia.

Offset, one-third of the trio Migos, revealed in an interview that he has a special way of dealing with the death of his close friend who he has long considered as a brother.

Offset Special Way to Deal With Takeoff Death

In a Variety interview, Offset, the beau of rapper Cardi B, Offset's mood suddenly shifted from hyped to somber one when the conversation came to discussing Migos.

In actuality, the rapper could not discuss or talk about his trio. Offset subtly left the group around 2022 when Quavo's ex-girlfriend, Saweetie, reportedly slept with Offset at one point. This left Quavo and Takeoff releasing an album without Offset, further dividing the group. There was never a confirmation that the group has disbanded but the chaos between Quavo and Offset continues to prove otherwise.

When Takeoff was mentioned, Offset dropped to a somber tone.

"It's hard for me to talk about shit right now," he told the publication, almost whispering. "I've never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man."

According to the rapper, he refrains from talking about Takeoff as it still hurt to date. He also mentioned that speaking about (or even thinking about) his death sends him into a mood, which he doesn't want to get into during the interview.

"Some things I don't never tell nobody. He's not here. That shit feels fake, bro," Offset said, shaking his head in response to the disbelief that his dear friend has already passed away. "I get through my day thinking it's fake. And I don't say nothing to nobody about it."

Shortly after the conversation led to Takeoff, Offset left the interview upset, going to another room, as the publication reported, returning only to bid the people goodbye.
