Takeoff has been honored several times since his death last November 2022. The Migos superstar was gunned down after a bar fight in Houston, Texas, and has been mourned by his fans and the music industry in general since then.

Now, his cousin, Offset, Cardi B's husband, has given him an ultimate honor that would probably be present until his dying breath - an all-new tattoo on his back!

Takeoff Tattoo From Offset

Posted from his Instagram account, Offset, one-third of what used to be Atlanta rap trio Migos, gave his followers a peek at his latest artistic expression.

Formally known as Kiari Kendrell Cephus, Offset posted a photo of his back - showing an intricately drawn and inked Takeoff in his back. The Offset Takeoff Tattoo seemingly mirrors a portrait of the Immaculate Conception with the halo in the background, what seemed to be a wreath of leaves, and the planet Saturn on the upper right.

Takeoff's blings are also on full display as it was etched on Offset's back as necklaces.

"Love you 4L & after," he captioned along with the rocket, white heart, and dove emojis.

Love for the late rapper had poured out on the social media post, which has now amassed almost 2 million likes.

"Omg this made me cry my brother, this is the definition of loving with your entire heart ! Wow!" another commented.

"To be a rich one that's good but to have a partner and hustle together and gettin rich thats better and blessin," a fan shared.

"The tattoo artist did Take justice in capturing him and his essence. That back tattoo ain't for the weak. His pain tolerance must be ridiculous," someone pointed out.

Takeoff Cause of Death Happened In 'Seconds'

To say that Takeoff's death was shocking might be an understatement for some as a bystander revealed last March 2023 that the whole encounter took place only for a matter of seconds.

"I felt the sting in my head... I didn't realize what actually happened to me, and fortunately, I had on a wig and a wig cap. So, I took the wig off and noticed that I had a lot of blood," 24-year-old Sydney Leday recalled to The Shade Room.

Turns out as she was fleeing, Leday was also shot but was only grazed by a bullet which was fired by the opposing gang who was believed to have caused the heated altercation that turned bloody.

Meanwhile, 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark has since been arrested as the prime suspect in Takeoff's murder.
