Fans believed Gwen Stefani suffered a Photoshop fail in her most recent advertisement to promote her beauty line, GXVE Beauty by Gwen Stefani.
The singer officially launched her cosmetics brand in March 2022 and introduced "clean, vegan and cruelty-free" products. To promote the brand, she recently posted a new ad featuring herself, but the photo has since received criticism from fans.
Gwen Stefani Slammed After Editing Her Photo "Too Much"
On GXVE Beauty's official Instagram page, the brand dropped a photo of its new products, Check My Glow highlighter and Pick It Up cream contour and powder bronzer duo.
In the snap, Stefani can be seen holding the kit while wearing Pick It Up in Toastin' and Check My Glow in Platinum Cowgirl. She looks directly at the camera as she holds the palette close to her poreless face.
While fans support the launch, others criticized Stefani for using Photoshop and filter too much.

One said in the comment section, per The Sun, "Not so much Photoshop, please. That's not what 50 + year olds look like. All of them have some degree of wrinkles and that is beautiful too. No need to lie."
They also noted how unnatural her skin looks in the photo. While Stefani has not responded to her critics, she previously made people drop their jaws when she sported a minimal makeup in her new selfie video with her husband, Blake Shelton, as she sang No Doubt's "It's My Life."

It was not the first time Stefani earned criticism, though.
A few days before her ad was posted, the 53-year-old crooner posted another video of her makeup tutorial using the products from her beauty company.
Fans immediately bombarded her with demands to show herself without a filter or too much makeup. They also asked Stefani what happened to her "authenticity" and why she keeps on hiding her natural beauty.
Amid the flak, Stefani opts to live her life as freely as possible without dealing with any hate comments. Recently, she joined The Voice wrap party surprise to mark Shelton's final episode on the NBC show.
She gave her husband a kiss although she missed the live taping on that day due to a different commitment and schedule out of town.
