Tina Turner's ashes reached their final resting place after the singer was cremated following a small, private service to honor her life and legacy in Switzerland.

Turner's family held a service for the legendary singer - who endured a long battle with complications from a kidney transplant and cancer - after she passed away at her Switzerland home on May 24. Her longtime personal assistant previously revealed that she wanted her body to be cremated if she died, and her bereaved family granted her wish after the funeral.

Where Is Tina Turner's Final Resting Place?

Radar Online confirmed that the Queen of Rock and Roll had been cremated as she wished soon after her family and close friends offered their final goodbyes to her.

The news outlet, however, did not obtain further details about Turner's final resting place following the cremation, though a source disclosed she wanted her ashes to be placed somewhere "near and dear to her heart."

On the other hand, fans remain curious about whether her ashes were also scattered or kept in an urn after the cremation.

The "Late What's Love Got to Do With It" hitmaker scattered her firstborn son Craig's ashes in the Pacific Ocean in 2018 following his death in an apparent suicide. Her official Twitter account shared a photo of Turner dropping a rose to say her final goodbye to her son, calling it the saddest moment she went through as a mother.

Turner's other final wishes have not been shared with the public, as well, as her assistant Eddy Hampton Armani said the singer did not want to have a big public funeral either.

Tina Turner's Son Arrested

Only a few months after Turner's death, her family was hit with another heartbreaking event when her son, Ike Turner Jr., was arrested for crack cocaine possession and tampering with evidence when he tried to eat the drugs.

Police found 1.7 grams of crack cocaine and 0.7 grams of methamphetamine when they pulled him over for a vehicle violation, which included the headlight on his white 2013 Ford Fusion not working when he was driving it.

The police records confirmed that Ike Jr. is still in Brazoria County Jail's custody as he failed to post his $70,000 bail when he was arrested on May 6, a few weeks before the singer's passing.
