It has been quite some time since Taylor Swift has released country music after switching genres many years back, but with the release of her re-recorded album "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," country music is getting shaken up.

Swift has broken two major records with the release of her new re-recorded album, reports say. It became Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day in 2023-so far, and the most-streamed country album in a single day in the music platform's history.

"Speak Now" was initially released in 2010, back when the "Enchanted" singer was still firmly within country music limits.

It is one of the most pivotal albums of Swift, as not only did it earn her several Grammy Awards, but cemented her legacy as one of the most prominent singer-songwriters of the generation.

With its re-release, the singer has proved that she has managed to not only improve her vocals and breath control but as well as the success to reclaim her throne in country music.

Taylor Swift's Version of 'Speak Now'

The new album came out on July 7, with several new songs unveiled from the vault: "Electric Touch" featuring Fall Out Boy, "Castles Crumbling" featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore, "When Emma Falls in Love," "Foolish One," and "Timeless."

One of Swift's collaborators, Williams, took to social media to congratulate the singer for the new milestones: "There goes my hero," she wrote, perhaps referencing a Foo Fighters song "My Hero," which she recently performed a cover of with Paramore.

"Taylor was the first industry friend I ever made and hung out with outside of work things," the frontwoman wrote about Swift when "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" came out.

"When Speak Now dropped, I bought my friend's record (as you do!) and listened to the whole thing in my first car, sitting still in the driveway. It's my favorite Taylor Swift album for so many reasons,

"I wish I could go back to this moment at my 21st birthday and tell her one day she'll legitimately own Speak Now and we'll get to sing together on one of the songs."
