Weezer's debut single from their fall release Everything Will Be Alright In The End is titled "Back To The Shack," but when the band needs to come up with new material in the future, they're probably heading "Back To The Ship."

The band is known for its Weezer Cruises, which feature lengthy stays on the ocean with plenty of classic tunes.

But we had no idea the boys enjoyed them so much.

"One of the most inspiring moments for this record was when we did the Weezer Cruises we were locked up with a bunch of our fans for five days," frontman Rivers Cuomo told Q. "It was just such a feeling of love and support and passion for the most uniquely Weezer parts of what we do."

Everything Will Be Alright In The End is due Sept. 29, and the band dropped another teaser this week.

Our own Joey DeGroot broke down what little we heard of "Go Away," featuring Best Coast's Bethany Constentino:

The song sounds pretty much exactly how you would expect a collaboration between Weezer and Best Coast to sound: fuzzy chords, a simple progression, and a '60s pop melody that'll get stuck in your brain immediately. Weezer's music has been pretty disappointing over the last few years, but this actually sounds pretty good.

"Well- I co-wrote + am featured on a song on the new Weezer album," Cosentino said on her Instagram account, "so basically, all my teenage dreams have officially come true."

Cuomo will also be the subject of a new sitcom on Fox, titled DeTour. The pilot script will be written by Psych creator Steve Franks, and is inspired by Cuomo's experiences attending Harvard following Weezer's mid-90s commercial breakthrough.

Franks pitched the plot of DeTour as "the story of a 30-something rock star who, unable to rationalize his success and worried that he may not have the tools to repeat it, walks away from the spotlight at the height of his fame in an effort to rediscover the parts of his life he missed while he way busy becoming a massive success."
