Taylor Swift ended the first North American leg of "The Eras" Tour with a bang - the announcement of the "1989 (Taylor's Version)" release date!

Not more than a full day since she announced it, fans online have been piecing information and previous tweets that suggest Nicki Minaj might be part of the hotly-anticipated album.

Nicki Minaj Appearing on '1989 (Taylor's Version)'?

It is important to note that Taylor Swift announced that "1989 (Taylor's Version)" will be released on the same date that it was released 9 years ago - Oct. 27, 2023.

Months ago, Nicki Minaj first announced that her upcoming new album, which was eventually titled "Pink Friday 2," is slated for release on Oct. 20, 2023, a week before Swift's "1989" release date.

However, weeks after, Minaj revealed in another tweet that she would be moving the release date of the said album from Oct. 20 to Nov. 17, 2023.

"Due to some really exciting news that I'll share with you guys @ a later time, I've shifted the album date just a tad bit. Trust me, it'll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT," she hinted at the time.

A fan theory on Twitter has been doing rounds, piecing together the rather coincidental and conveniently rescheduling of Nicki Minaj's album on a date later than "1989's" release date.

For those who can remember, Minaj has tweeted some lyrics of Taylor Swift's hit song "Anti-Hero," on May 25, 2023, days before she announced the original release date of her new album.

According to fans, this could possibly hint that Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj, for the second time in their respective careers, are working together again.
