The closing of the US leg of Taylor Swift's "Eras" Tour has left fans of in absolute shock after seeing she is an unbelievable double for another singer's mother.

The 33-year-old pop star has often been likened to other famous faces due to their similar facial features. Many people have noticed a similarity between singer-songwriter Liz Lawrence and two well-known public figures - Lauren Graham, famous for her role as Lorelai Gilmore in Gilmore Girls, and visual artist Zeena LaVey.

The rumor mill is now abuzz about a possible connection between Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Swift and the diva, Mariah Carey.

Recently, a Taylor Swift fan posted an incredible photo of Mariah Carey's mother, Patricia Carey, to her Twitter account and asked, "Why does Mariah Carey's mom look like old Taylor Swift???"

This one post sparked a flurry of responses from stunned fans who could not believe how uncanny the resemblance was. Hundreds flocked to the comments in awe.

Many Twitter fans quickly pointed out the similarity between the tweet and the "Lavender Haze" hitmaker. "I thought it was Taylor with a filter," wrote a fan, while another commented: "The resemblance is uncanny."

A third then suggested that the post brought back memories of an older version of Taylor in her music video for "Anti-Hero," pointing to the photo on a stand during the funeral home scene in her short film.

When Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift meet up, many people can't help but notice the resemblance between them. "Perhaps Mariah thinks every time she sees her that Taylor looks like her mother," commented one person.

Last Wednesday marked the end of Taylor's The "Eras" Tour's first string of sold-out US shows, wrapping up in Inglewood, California. One week before that night, the blonde bombshell had been taking stages across America.

Only a week ago, Taylor Swift revealed the fourth re-recorded album - "1989."

The superstar declared that "Taylor's Version" of her classic album will be out on October 27, 2023, precisely nine years after its original release date on October 27, 2014.
