Hayley Williams of Paramore and SZA might be two of the hottest musicians when it comes to making music as both of them constantly dominate the charts whenever they release a new song, but many are wondering if they collaborated with each other; would it break records too?

More recently, the punk band's frontwoman recently appeared in an episode of the "Black People Love Paramore" podcast where she revealed her dream collaboration that she's been trying to work on for years.

The singer was asked if there would be any black artists she wanted to team up with for a track, who would it be.

Sure enough, Williams said it was SZA "for a long time" because she loves her voice. (via People Magazine)

It appears that the musician had been trying to make this collaboration work for years now, but she mentioned that SZA was not responding.

"SZA for about six years now has been the one. I'm sending the texts weekly at this point," she said.

Hayley Williams Helped SZA on 'SOS'

Even though the two powerhouse musicians have yet to release a song together, it was previously reported that the Paramore songstress helped SZA on her latest album, "SOS."

Speaking with the outlet, the "I Hate U" hitmaker said her record had several goals, especially exploring different genres.

She then noted that she would ask for help from Williams regarding the project.

"I would text people like Hayley Williams and be like, 'Does it sound like I'm trying to do something that I shouldn't be doing, or does it sound organic? Because it felt really natural to me, but you're the queen of this, how does it sound to you?'" she said, adding that the Paramore singer would tell her that what she's done was perfect.

Paramore Tour 2023 Canceled

The recent news comes a few weeks after Paramore decided to cancel the rest of their shows for their "This is Why" tour.

The reason behind the cancelation was Williams' health condition as she had been battling an infection.

She noted in an Instagram post that after she powered through the prior shows and consulted a medical professional, they decided to cancel the rest of the tour because if she neglected her health, it would have long-term damage to her.
