The 300-word proof showed that as of July 2023, the 34-year-old celebrity had yet to plan to serve the "Game of Thrones" actress with the documents months later.
The enthusiastic couple had planned to live out their days together, signing a contract on a luxurious estate worth $9.1 million near the town of Wallingford, Oxford.
Sophie reported they had already put down 10 percent as an initial deposit for the so-called "forever" home.
Joe highly praised their property for its picturesque scenery in a letter addressed to its intended homeowners. He suggested that it would be an ideal abode for a family with two young daughters. His words were enthusiastic, unlike those of his teenage admirers.
Joe said in his letter which was obtained by Page Six, "When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony, and a Wendy's house."
"While many of the houses we viewed met this criterion, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning [redacted], we experienced a sense of magic, unlike anything we had felt before."
Writing to the seller of his family's future home, Joe conveyed an image of his and Sophie Turner's children growing up there.
"I think Sophie and I will be able to look after [redacted names from court documents] and, for many years, pay homage to the magic you have created here."
It has been reported that the sale of the house in Wallingford, Oxford, which was scheduled to be finalized on December 2, never closed. The court documents state that, as such, the property is now in escrow.
