Paramore is rereleasing their album "This is Why" with a whole new look, sound, and even songs.

According to reports, the band is dropping "Re: This is Why," a remixed version of their sixth studio album, which was released in February of this year.

As of this writing, Paramore is yet to announce the highly anticipated setlist of the upcoming album which is expected to drop on Oct. 6.

"We've long wanted to recognize the connection we have with some of the artists who've influenced us as a band and/or who have cited our band as an influence," the band explained.

The album, "Re: This is Why" is described to be a re-imagining of an "almost" remix album .

"Some of the songs have been remixed sort of classically, while others were reworked or rewritten. It's incredible to hear all our worlds colliding," Paramore described their upcoming release.

On top of the original 10-song tracklist of "This is Why," they hinted that there will be some surprise songs included in the new album.

Paramore Teases Fans

According to reports, apparently, the album is the big surprise that Paramore has been hinting about for the last week.

The band shared a cryptic note on their websites that included dates and questions: "10.2 - Why is This?" followed by "10.6 - Is This Why?"

Fans were not expecting any new material from the band, especially since Paramore had to cancel their tour so their frontwoman, Hayley Williams could recover from her lung infection.

Hayley Williams Health, Lung Infection

Williams has opened up about her lung infection and her doctor's suggestion to stop using her vocal cords for a while as she recovers.

In August, she wrote: "I can hardly believe I don't cough all day and night anymore. My stomach is still f-ed from 10 kinds of medication...I'm just happy to be resting more. When I was feeling my worst, I couldn't do much but just sleep and lay around.

"[...] but mostly I just scrolled around on my phone...to a degree that has been, to put it nicely, disgusting."

She has hinted very subtly that Paramore has been working on new music while she is recuperating, but did not disclose what at the time.

"Zac and Taylor and I also just want to get back to making things. Not only the creative process but the layer(s) of insulation that can come with the creative process."
