When Britney Spears was the host of "Saturday Night Live" in 2002, the subject of her alleged affair with Wade Robson was brought up by her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

This prompted an uncomfortable encounter between the duo.

Back in Feb. 2, 2002, NSYNC's front man made his way to NYC's iconic 30 Rock studios for an appearance on NBC's show with his girlfriend at that time. He proudly introduced her to everyone there.

Just days prior, Justin reportedly discovered an intimate letter written by Britney to her choreographer Wade Robson.

Sources close to the production team told Page Six that Britney, at the time both a host and musical guest on "SNL" had been in a romantic relationship with Robson for many months and had not just engaged in deep conversation.

After much effort, Wade could finally be reached by phone while the Saturday hit show was on featuring Britney. Interestingly, when she gave her thanks at the show's end, Wade's absence from the stage was very noticeable.

When the curtains had finally dropped and the show was over, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, who were both 20 and 21 respectively, at the time, made their way to her dressing room for a private moment. For 40 minutes, they chatted away before hosting an exclusive post-show party at Serafina.

The "Baby One More Time" singer has revealed a shocking truth about her past relationships with Justin Timberlake and Wade Robson through her new autobiography, "The Woman In Me."

"We were out one night, and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night," the singer wrote of Wade.

Recently, Annet Artani, the songwriter who collaborated with Britney Spears on the song "Everytime" in 2003, spoke to TMZ about an intriguing discovery made by Justin Timberlake.

He uncovered a 14-page break-up letter addressed to Wade from Britney, which suggests that their relationship was far more than just a simple kiss.

In 1999, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears were co-stars on the show "Mickey Mouse Club."

However, their relationship abruptly ended in March 2002 due to a simple yet heartbreaking two-word text message from Justin - "It's over." In Brintey's recent autobiography, it was revealed that during their time together, she had an abortion at his request as he wasn't ready for fatherhood.
