Friday saw an exciting turn of events as Jessica Biel took action against the backlash she received for marrying Justin Timberlake.

This was due to the arrival of Britney Spears' intimate memoir "The Woman in Me," which exposed many details of her three-year relationship with NSYNC's frontman.

As a result, Jessica decided to put a limit on her Instagram comments and restrict any further hostility from Britney's army of fans.

The "Womanizer" singer has opened up about intimate details of her past relationship with the "Cry Me A River" hitmaker.

During their courtship between 1999 and 2002, the 41-year-old told of how Justin had declared that he did not want to be a father, prompting an abortion.

Amidst the criticism that the 42-year-old boyband faced from die-hard fans of Britney Spears this past Thursday, his wife Jessica Biel was not spared either.

Hundreds of angry comments from the pop princess' "the Britney army" began to appear on Jessica's Instagram post from August 21st - some accusing her of ignoring the pop star's traumas while in a relationship with Justin.

"I'm utterly bewildered as to why you remain with a man who damaged [their] ex-partner's mental health," one person penned.

Another commented, "Never understood what drew you to Justin." A third person echoed their sentiment, asking, "What keeps you together?"

The mom of two was not left without defenders, and soon, people began to speak out against the "harassment."

One individual wrote, "You invested time into finding her page just to make this comment? How does it affect you in any way? Unbelievable!"

Another added with anger, "Stop attacking Jessica! She did nothing wrong; leave her alone!"

Justin Timberlake has not yet commented on the assertions made in Britney Spears' recently released book, though a source close to him revealed that he is far from pleased.

The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that the entertainer has yet to make plans to reach out and address the subject with the "Toxic" hitmaker directly.

Britney's memoir has had a drastic effect on her marriage to Justin Timberlake, with one source claiming he is far from pleased. Not only did it cast a shadow over their 11th wedding anniversary on October 19th, but it appears the "Womanizer" singer's account of events has been received negatively.

It was not an excellent situation for Justin and Jessica to be in as their anniversary came around; news of Britney's book and its revelations had surfaced, according to another source who spoke with the outlet.

They were married in October 2012 and have two boys together: Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
