Sabrina Carpenter offended the Catholic Church so much with her newly released "Feather" music video that they had to re-bless the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Brooklyn, New York.

According to the Daily Mail UK, the Catholic Church has begun investigating who agreed for Carpenter to shoot her racy music video in the centuries-old church, and they also had to sanctify its walls and altar.

"The parish did not follow diocesan policy regarding the filming on Church property, which includes a review of the scenes and script," read the statement released by the Diocese of Brooklyn.

They also condemned the "Nonsense" singer and her "blasphemous" music video; according to reports, Brooklyn Bishop Robert Brennan was "appalled."

As per reports, the church, located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn was established in 1863.

There were a slew of reactions from netizens following the release of Carpenter's music video.

Some found it amusing and ironic, as it was released during the Halloween season, and the music video depicted gore and some "Final Destination"-esque scenes.

"I want to express how absolutely disgusting Sabrina Carpenter's new music video for 'Feather' is. The disrespectful use of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church is vile and appalling. There were also some rumors that circulated that the "Emails I Can't Send" singer might get used by the Catholic Church, however, as of this writing, there are no updates on that.
