KeKe Palmer recently filed a petition to seek protection against her ex, Darius Jackson, after accusing him of hurling offensive slurs in front of their 8-month-old son.
Since 2021, KeKe and Darius have had a turbulent, on-again, off-again relationship.
In October 2023, the "FR FR" singer decided to end things for good.
KeKe Palmer Abused
On November 7, Darius Jackson appeared at KeKe Palmer's home and brutally assaulted her. Furthermore, in February 2022, there was an incident where the baby daddy allegedly body-slammed and choked her, too.
As part of her legal proceedings, KeKe provided images taken from her security cameras as evidence to support her claims.
She sought a court order for Darius to remain at least 100 yards away from herself and their son. She argued that during their relationship, he had displayed not only physical violence towards her but also manipulative and emotionally damaging conduct.
She said in the filing obtained by Radar Online, "Darius would 'love bomb' me and make me feel like I was the most important woman in the world, only to get extremely distant and cold over a perceived insult to him."
"If we were at a party or event, and I spoke with one person too long or looked at someone a 'certain way,' he would storm off in a rage - telling me I was 's---' and a 'w----,' accuse me of cheating on him, and that I did not love him."
"Darius had a way of gaslighting me to make me feel like I was doing something wrong even though I wasn't."
KeKe Palmer explained that Darius Jackson had committed damaging acts to punish her.
The "GIANT" singer said, "He not only read my private journals without my consent, he then destroyed them. I had been keeping these journals since I was 12 years old -- they were irreplaceable."

Trouble in Paradise
In April 2022, an incident occurred between Darius Jackson and KeKe Palmer.
According to actress, her beau was suspicious that she had been flirting with a woman at a restaurant in Santa Barbara. In response to this allegation, KeKe denied it and attempted to calm him down, but his temper kept rising.
The actress-singer revealed that Darius' insecurity had been the source of much of his abuse towards her during their relationship.
But she reportedly genuinely felt scared when he began to envy the time she spent with their son.
KeKe explained, "He then opened my bag, threw all my stuff on the ground in the rain, and flung my car keys across the parking lot before getting into his car and driving away."
She added, "Darius said very disturbing things to me that caused me to fear for our son's safety with him, including, "how he understood why male animals in the wild want to eat their children" and, "A man's love for his child is based on if he loves the woman."
To make matters worse, she claims, "Darius will be holding our eight-month-old son and saying to him "Your mama is a w----/a c---/a liar/no one wants her."
In a resolution made by a judge, KeKe Palmer was given permission, and Darius Jackson was commanded to remain one hundred yards away until December when there would be a hearing.
Furthermore, KeKe Palmer obtained exclusive custody of their son until any additional notice was provided.
