Britney Spears' memoir left a lasting mark on the Hollywood industry as major celebrities are now reportedly fighting each other to determine who will produce a movie based on the bombshell book.

According to a report published by The Ankler, some of the A-list personalities in the entertainment industry like Margot Robbie, Reese Witherspoon, and Brad Pitt, are all interested in making "The Woman in Me" into a film or television series.

Regardless of the offers, there is still no concrete plan for creating a film as Spears reportedly wanted to take things slow after she got major attention after her exposé against her family and other celebrities that she was involved with in the past like her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

Britney Spears Taking Things Slow

Page Six reported that Spears just rescheduled a meeting with an unnamed major producer at the last minute because she wasn't feeling it.

In addition, another insider noted that the "Gimme More" hitmaker was "overwhelmed by the response" of her book following its release back in October.

Since the memoir still has a media frenzy revolving around it, Britney Spears' team is currently holding any possibility of making major decisions about "where the rights end up until she has time to catch her breath."

Initially, Shonda Rhimes was named as one of the celebrities who are interested in the project, but a spokesperson for the artist/producer confirmed that she doesn't have plans on pursuing it.

Aside from a possible film or TV series, there is also a separate project that comes in the form of a documentary that could make Spears earn over a whopping $40 million.

As of this writing, Britney Spears has yet to comment on the matter. There is also no announcement regarding a movie surrounding the musician's life story.

Britney Spears Biopic

If the film production pushes through, this won't be the first time Britney Spears will have a biopic or a movie surrounding her life as Lifetime previously produced a movie based on her story.

Released in 2017, the TV film "Britney Ever After" starred Natasha Bassett, Clayton Chitty, Peter Benson, Nicole Oliver, Nathan Keyes, and many more.

Regarded as an unofficial biopic, Spears nor her team or any of her family members were involved in the creation of this movie.
