Cardi B Planning to File a Lawsuit Against Poorly-Executed AI-Generated Advertisement of Hers?

Artificial Intelligence has been taking over the internet in different forms such as music, deep fakes, and more recently, advertisement. Cardi B is the latest victim of misinformation as her face was used in a commercial and she was completely against it.

According to Uproxx, there is an online ad for a brand called USA Wellness Wave and it featured a voiceover which sounds like the female rapper's voice.

However, it appeared that the ad was poorly executed because there were parts where the intonation of the voiceover sounded different.

In addition, Cardi B's random clips were also used in the video in order to make people believe that it was true.

Cardi B Filing a Lawsuit Against AI-Generated Ad?

The "Bongos" hitmaker then took her time to debunk the advertisement and called it out, and it appears that she's planning to file a lawsuit against the perpetrators.

"AI is crazy smh....another lawsuit that fell right on my lap...I love easy money," she wrote on X.

As of this writing, Cardi B has yet to reveal whether she filed a formal complaint about the commercial or not.

The recent news comes a few days after Cardi B finally addressed the rumors that she's taking a break from music, and it appears that it's not happening anytime soon.

On the social media platform, the singer clarified that she was never "taking a hiatus," but rather will continue her break from the internet.

"Not sure why that's causing such a ruckus. [Babygirl], ya know where to catch me!" she told her fans.

In September, she told her followers through Twitter Spaces that she felt that people on social media were crazy and they were going to drive her crazy, that's why she decided to step back and take a break from the internet.

Even though she claimed she was on a social media break, she went live on Instagram last week and alluded to the recent events that happened to Will Smith.

"I be feeling like Will Smith is very unproblematic, and I feel like he [has] a nice heart. And that's the thing, I found out that Will Smith is a Libra," she said.

In other updates, Cardi B's latest song was "Bongos" with her collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, they performed the track at the MTV Video Music Awards this year.
