Lady Gaga has been quiet throughout 2023 as she rarely attended any public events and she never released any music (except for her collaboration with Rolling Stone for "Sweet Sounds of Heaven"). Now that 2024 is here, fans are looking forward to get more project from the pop star; is a new album on the way?
According to Complex, Lady Gaga has been busy with working on her new movie "Joker 2: Folie à Deux" as she will be portraying the role of Harley Quinn, opposite of Joaquin Phoenix as Joker.
Last week, Todd Phillips gave fans a little teaser of what the singer could be working on for the movie as he shared two pictures of the pop star and her co-actor for the movie.
This wasn't the first time Lady Gaga will take the big screen as she already starred in the massive film "A Star is Born" back in 2018 as well as the "House of Gucci" in 2021. She also had TV credits for her work on the "American Horror Story" hotel.
Lady Gaga New Music Coming This 2024?
It seems like Lady Gaga will indeed have new music coming this 2024 as "Joker 2: Folie à Deux" will be a musical film, so fans should expect new material from the pop star, but it could be completely different from her pop antics.

The clip didn't show Gaga herself, but fans were sure that the voice really resembled the pop artist.
This will be the first-ever musical movie for a superhero franchase and the public has been patiently waiting for the film to be released.
"Joker 2: Folie à Deux" will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
Another MAJOR Lady Gaga Project Possible to be Released Soon
The year 2023 saw some major concert films like Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" and Beyoncé's "Renaissance Tour," but how about Lady Gaga?
Lady Gaga concluded her "Chromatica Ball Tour" back in 2022, but it doesn't mean it won't get its own concert film treatment.
She confirmed in a social media post that she is ineed working on the movie's edit, that's why she was busy.
"I have been running my start-up Haus Labs, doing philanthropic work, and additionally have been working on The Chromatica Ball film edit... Here's a photo of my working on The Chromatica Ball film edit (that's a frame from the film behind me) - I can't WAIT for you to experience it," she wrote.
As of this writing, Lady Gaga has yet to reveal the official release date, but fans are hoping she would drop it anytime soon.
