Olivia Rodrigo has shared details about her upcoming "Guts" tour performance planning. Although she looks like she got it in the bag because of her musical talent and supportive fans - the artist said she is truly struggling with the preparations for the show.

Could she be overthinking it?

The singer of the famous song "Good 4 U" has revealed that she is being forced to "examine (her) identity" as an artist as she gets ready for her next world tour.

The journey is set to begin on February 23, just a few days after her 21st birthday, in Palm Springs, California. Olivia remarked, "I'm either not gonna do a party or I'm gonna be really hung over for the first show," said Rodrigo in a Los Angeles Times interview. "We'll see."

Planning the show, the "Vampire" singer said, "is really making (her) examine (her) identity" as a live performer.

"Because I love going to a show that's big and awesome, but I'm also not the type of girl who's gonna break into a dance routine. That's not me," she explained. "So I've got to figure out a way to make it my own."

The 20-year-old added that she has "to work on (her) death-metal scream too" in addition to recently drawing inspiration from 1990's alternative music in her tracks. During a recent Saturday Night Live performance of her song All-American B**ch, Olivia tested out the scream. The tour, which has 77 dates, will begin on February 23 and end on August 17.

But Olivia Rodrigo cannot deny her talents. In fact, she barred Swift from making a big record.

According to Forbes, Taylor Swift dominates several of Billboard's purchase-only rankings with a slew of successful projects, all of which are being snapped up in the thousands. Before 2024 officially rolled in, the superstar nearly made history on a pair of lists, but Rodrigo interjected and stopped her from doing so.

On both the Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums charts, Swift nearly fills the entirety of the top five. She misses out on doing so-and making history yet again-by just one frustrating spot on both tallies. Olivia Rodrigo interrupts her reign on the two lists with her months-old title that is selling very well this holiday season.

Swift claims the Nos. 1 through 4 spots on the two Billboard charts this week. She rules yet again with her most recent offering, 1989 (Taylor's Version). That re-recording is followed quickly by Midnights (No. 2), Lover (No. 3), and Speak Now (Taylor's Version) (No. 4).

Rodrigo's sophomore album Guts comes in at No. 5 on both charts, improving slightly from where it sat last week. Swift almost managed the top five, as her other collection Folklore dips slightly to No. 6. If things had worked out just a bit differently, she would have controlled the entire area.
