Talks about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement renewed a few months before the couple's first anniversary.
In December, social media users and experts theorized that Kelce would pop the question to Swift on her birthday or Christmas Day. However, the engagement did not happen as speculated.
Now, a source claimed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end found the best date to give Swift a ring: on their first anniversary.
Travis Kelce Planning To Propose to Taylor Swift?
A source recently told Page Six that Kelce and Swift would take another leap in their relationship in July as they would mark their one-year anniversary then. The insider claimed the pair had already talked about the possible engagement and created "plans" for it.
Swift previously revealed they started dating long before she was seen at a Kansas City Chiefs game for the first time in September 2023. The "Anti-Hero" singer told TIME they started hanging out after the athlete expressed his interest in her in an episode of his "New Heights" podcast in July.
"We started hanging out right after that," she said. "So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game. We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."
Meanwhile, another source claimed Kelce had already asked permission from Scott Swift and shared his desire to marry the songstress. The patriarch reportedly gave his blessing "wholeheartedly," and Kelce began speaking to his pals about a ring.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Previously Sparked Rumors
Before the new source's comment, several separate insiders shared similar sentiments as the pair's romance intensified.
Psychic Sally Morgan said Swift would get married this year.
"I think she'll marry Travis this year," she told Closer Magazine. "They're so in love, they have a healthy relationship and there's endless trust both ways. As soon as they get married, we'll hear about a pregnancy, possibly before the year is out."
Others said the pair already had deep conversations about their relationship and future as a couple.
Swift previously hit the headlines after baseless rumors that she and her ex, Joe Alwyn, were married surfaced.
