Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly had their first major fight after the Kansas City Chiefs lost on Christmas Day.
On December 25, the Kansas City Chiefs lost a game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium, marking the team's sixth defeat in the current season. Aside from the defeat, Kelce reportedly dealt with his first major quarrel with Swift.
Why Did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Argue?
A source recently told Life & Style the trouble in paradise Kelce and Swift faced following the Kansas City Chiefs' loss. The reported fight ruined the tight end and his muse's holidays, especially since it was their first fight since they started dating.
"Brittany told Taylor to let Travis lick his wounds, but it wasn't easy," the insider said, adding that the "Lover" singer was a "nervous wreck" before Kelce's game on New Year's Day. "The idea of Travis losing again and having it ruin their New Year's was so stressful."
Kelce expressed his disappointment after the Christmas Day "embarrassing" defeat on his podcast.
"We literally played Santa and gave them a present," he said. "That was embarrassing. Everybody in the building knows how embarrassing that was. We got a short week so we're going to forget about this s--- real quick. It's a f------ frustrating experience right now and every single day we're trying to fix it. I promise you guys."
Aside from the defeat, their constant travel reportedly added more tension. Still, Swift made the adjustments and took the flights more frequently to see Kelce.
In a previous interview in 2012, Swift said she could be in a long-distance relationship as she could fly to see her beau. However, the current setup allegedly started taking a toll on her while people urged her to focus on herself more instead.

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce Are Jealous of Taylor Swift
The source also disclosed that Swift has yet to have the best reception from Travis' brother, Jason, and his wife, Kylie. Per the insider, the married couple is jealous of the attention the singer and Travis have been receiving.
"Taylor understands that it can be exhausting, but she can't help that everything she does becomes front-page news," the source continued.
These, however, should be taken with a grain of salt.
