Young Jeezy Wins $5 Million CTE Lawsuit Filed By Former Manager
After a three-year long legal battle, rapper Young Jeezy has emerged victorious in his lawsuit filed by his former manager, Demetrius "Kinky B" Ellerbee. "Kinky B" claims Jeezy withheld money owed to him for helping to build and manage the career of the rapper Da Snowman. The finale of the lawsuit took place on October 30th as, TMZ reports, and Jeezy was acquitted of any wrongdoing. As XXL reports, Elleberbee, the official filer of the suit at the Fulton County Superior Court in 2012, claimed he deserved compensation for the co-foundation and assistance in managing Corporate Thugz Entertainment (CTE) group and that he's "entitled to half of all royalties, advances and distributions. -
