Robert Sillerman's SFX Entertainment Privatization Plan Fails
In the past few weeks, things have started to look bleak for Robert F.X. Sillerman in his big to try and take dance music conglomerate SFX Entertainment private. He had been struggling to find the financing from investors to begin an aggressive share buyback plan at the agreed price in May of $5.25 per share. Now that the company's share are valued at $1.39, that initial offer has become untenable and SFX is now exploring other options. -
Young Thug & Gucci Mane "Again" New Song & Video off 'Slime Season'
Today is Young Thug's birthday and in honor of the occasion, he's dropping a new track and accompanying music video to "Again" this evening at 5:55 PM (EDT). The new track will feature Gucci Mane. Who knows, maybe Gucci was granted temporary release for a spot in the video. "Again" is produced by London on da Track and will appear on he and Thug's upcoming collaborative mixtape, 'Slime Season.' -

Birdman Misses Lil Wayne on Instagram, Wants to Save Young Money
It's been shocking to watch father-son relationship between Birdman and Lil Wayne collapse right before our eyes, especially with such vitriol. It started with a few tweets from Wayne pleading for his freedom from the Cash Money "prison." Those tweets soon turned into a $51 million lawsuit against the label and its CEO Birdman, which, as of now, still hasn't been resolved. Somehow, things got even worse after the lawsuit as a recent indictment naming Birdman as a co-conspirator, along with Young Thug, in a plot to shoot up Wayne's tour bus. Today, finally, it seems Birdman has given his first apology to Wayne -- or, at least, his first attempt at reconciliation. -
