    Jim Rome instantly became the enemy of every marching band in the world after posting one disrespectful tweet. The CBS Sports Radio personality made a generalization of members, calling them "dorks" and sparking immediate backlash via social media with #MarchOnRome. The Washington Post picked up on the tweet, which has since been deleted, during the Ohio State-Alabama Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1.

The "Diamonds" star is kicking off 2015 with fresh speculation about new music as an unreleased track, "World Peace," has leaked out onto the web. It is unknown whether or not this is actually album material or just an unreleased demo that has managed to make its way out of the Rihanna camp.

    Clubbers in London are being jolted with some sudden, saddening news. Revered Shoreditch venue, Plastic People, has announced after reports started to circulate last night that it would be shuttering its doors this weekend. The news was confirmed by the club's owner, Charlotte Kepel, to Resident Advisor, telling the website, "We will not open again in 2015. Plastic People had great runs both on Oxford Street and Curtain Road." She added: "A fabulous time was had and it felt right to move on."

    Riff Raff is gearing up to have a pretty big 2015 with plans to drop two new albums ('The Peach Panther' and 'The Purple Panther') on June 1, and today, the Texas rapper has taken to his Instagram account to announce his 23-date "JODYHIGHROLLER.com" tour. The tour kicks off on Jan. 21 in Athens, Georgia and finishes up in Seattle on Feb. 18, with stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Phoenix in between, among other places.

    The Diplomats (aka The Dipset) are a rap collective consisting of Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey that formerly featured Hell Rell, 40 Cal. and J.R. Writer. Funk Flex recently dropped some serious news on rap heads: The Dipset are returning in 2015 for a series of five shows and a new mixtape.

    Detroit R&B singer, Maejor, has shared the music video for his new single, "Get You Alone" featuring Jeremih, which you can check out here. The video is pretty straightforward with Maejor singing the song near a hot tub while girls in bikinis smear glow in the dark paint over his body. Jeremih makes an appearance in the song's second half (it actually comes off like a completely different song entirely, which is pretty cool), singing/rapping about being "a fat kid for that fat ass," so you know this guy's a sweetheart.

    Minneapolis hip-hop duo, Atmosphere, have shared the music video for their song, "January On Lake Street," which you can check out here. The video follows a skateboarder riding around a city (presumably Minneapolis), intercut with slow motion shots of various people doing pretty much nothing. That description makes the video seem a bit boring, but it all ties together at the end in a tragic way (mini-spoiler alert: it's a lot like the end of Melancholia).
