The Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will give away all those awards that music fans love...but that CBS just doesn't have the time to put on television. Winners in the some of the less popular genres such as classical, jazz and metal, as well as the winners for more behind-the-scenes awards will be announced from 3:30 until 6:30 EST. Stay tuned to Music Times for a list of award winners as it develops, and perhaps even a word or two from Ryan Book.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Music Video Nominees, Who Should & Who Will Win: Arcade Fire and Sia Take on Pharrell Williams

The Best Music Video category for this year's Grammys features an array of talent and some striking visual clips. These aren't necessarily the best songs of the year, or even the most well-known. These tunes stand out merely because a director was able to pair the melody with meaningful images. No, "Anaconda" did not make the cut. Neither did "Booty." Instead we have videos from Arcade Fire, Sia and Pharrell Williams that concentrate on shots above the belt.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Metal Performance Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Mastodon and Slipknot Wait for Old Guard to Lose Sway

The Best Metal Performance Grammy nominees add up a whole bunch of what you would expect: old bands (Motörhead and Anthrax) playing the role of favorites while more modern acts (Mastodon and Slipknot) wait for the tides to shift. Tenacious D wonders how it even got a nomination, being a comedy act and all, while Ronnie James Dio is the real winner.
  • Grammys 2015 Best R&B Song Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Beyoncé's "Drunk In Love" Favored To Beat Songs By Usher, Chris Brown, Luke James & Jhené Aiko

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards hosted by LL Cool J will air live from the Los Angeles Staples Center this Sunday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. We've examined the biggest categories and have put in our two cents on who we think should win and who we think will win each award. Vote for your pick in the poll at the bottom of the page.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Pop Vocal Album Nominees, Who Should Win & Will: Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran Attempt to Beat Out Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour'

Though the Grammys are all about every genre, if we're being real, it's all about the pop music. So, when it comes to the pop music categories, the stakes are high. For Best Pop Vocal Album, there are some powerhouse nominees, two of which are up for Album of the Year (Ed Sheeran's x and Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour). Add in megastars like Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Coldplay, and there's a category that's too close to call.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Alternative Album Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Arcade Fire and St. Vincent Make It a Close Call

These days, it feels as if we're on the cusp of a guitar comeback in the mainstream. Ever since Mumford and Sons introduced a new wave of pop-folk, Top 40 radio has slowly relented on its "dance only" policy.
  • Harrison on Hardwell "Sally" Lyrics Controversy: 'It Was Our Plan the Whole Time'

The rise of electronic music globally has created a new class of superstar DJs who are able to tour the world, play in front of tens of thousands of people and be the face of multimillion-dollar advertising campaigns. But this has ignored the singers, songwriters and engineers who work tirelessly to create the songs that get radio play, played in clubs and at festivals and charted worldwide. British singer, songwriter, producer and DJ Harrison is one of those people who make the wheels dance in electronic music, but he is not nearly satisfied with that.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Rap Song Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Kanye Looks for Record Seventh Win, Can Nicki Minaj and Drake Compete?

Two new nominees get a chance in the Best Rap Song category: "Anaconda" by Nicki Minaj and "Bound 2" by Kanye West, while "i" by Kendrick Lamar, "We Dem Boyz" by Wiz Khalifa and "0 To 100 / The Catch Up" by Drake compete for another award.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Compilation Soundtrack Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Frozen Takes On Guardians of the Galaxy, American Hustle & More

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy became the highest-grossing superhero film of 2014. That in itself is impressive, but to think that a superhero film would also have an incredible soundtrack? That's not something you see every day. Superhero films are rarely known for their soundtracks -- scores, perhaps, but not soundtracks -- and lot of the film's success came from the fact that it has killer music.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Dance/Electronic Album, Who Should & Will Win: Aphex Twin Completes Comeback

Entering its 11th year, the Best Dance/Electronic Album category has an interesting group of nominees. Past winners have included everyone from Madonna to Daft Punk -- Bassment Jaxx to Skrillex and this year provides a varied group of five newcomers, veterans and comeback kings. It appears to be a two-horse race, but when it comes to the Grammys selecting a genre they aren't very familiar with, you never know for certain what they might do.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Rock Performance Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Jack White & The Black Keys Battle for Blues Glory

Even though rock music may not impact the charts much anymore, there's no denying that the ever-evolving genre is as interesting as ever. Just look at the 2015 Grammys nominations for Best Rock Performance. Offerings from Ryan Adams, Arctic Monkeys, Beck, The Black Keys and Jack White make this category one of the most varied of the year.
