  • Jhene Aiko 'Souled Out' Album Stream, Debuts Music Video For 'The Pressure' Directed By Childish Gambino [WATCH]

    Though it's set for official release next week on Sept. 9, Jhene Aiko's debut album Souled Out is available for streaming through iTunes right now. Perhaps in celebration of the album stream, Aiko has also released the video for her song "The Pressure," which was directed by Community star Donald Glover, a.k.a. rapper Childish Gambino.
  • Ne-Yo Shares Dates For Ne-Yo: Live In Concert Tour [FULL SCHEDULE]

    asdIn support of his upcoming album Non-Fiction, R&B star Ne-Yo has announced a string of American tour dates for the fall. The “Ne-Yo: Live in Concert” tour was announced through the singer's Instagram account and will kick off on Oct. 12 in San Francisco and end on Nov. 2 in Chicago.     Consequence of Sound reports that in celebration of their 20th anniversary, alt-country superstars Wilco have announced a brief string of US tour dates at the end of October, starting in Nashville on Oct. 21 and ending in Port Chester, NY on Oct. 29, with an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 27. In addition to this tour, they’ve also announced plans for their first ever compilation.

    Today synth-pop legends New Order announced that they have signed to British independent label Mute Records. This news came in a statement posted to Mute's website, in which label founder Daniel Miller said that he feels "privileged" to be working with the band, and is "looking towards an exciting future."

    Today it was announced that a new box set of George Harrison's solo work is set for release on Sept. 22. According to Harrison's website, George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-1975 will contain the former Beatle's first six solo albums, all of which were originally released through Apple Records.
  • Faith No More Releasing New Album, Touring US In 2015

    In an interview with Rolling Stone, bassist Bill Gould confirmed that his band Faith No More is planning to release a new album in April 2015, which would be their first in 18 years. The as-of-yet untitled album is currently being recorded at the band's rehearsal space in Oakland, CA, with Gould handling the production. The album will release through Faith No More's own imprint, Reclamation Records.

    Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine was one of the most popular albums of 2013, and today the “Royals” singer has confirmed that she is currently in the studio, possibly working on her follow-up. On her Instagram account this past Friday, Aug. 29, Lorde posted a close-up photo of a candle in front of a mixing board, with the caption, “i always remind myself to bring a candle for the studio and finally i did today and ohhhhhhh.” You can check out the Instagram photo below.
