  • Grammys 2015 Best Pop Solo Performance Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Sia Battles Sam Smith, John Legend, Taylor Swift & Pharrell

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards hosted by LL Cool J will air live from the Los Angeles Staples Center this Sunday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. We've examined the biggest categories and have put in our two cents on who we think should win and who we think will win each award. Vote for your pick in the poll at the bottom of the page. Sia's "Chandelier" is one of the only pop songs that instead of getting really old after a while actually gets better with time. Every new performance seems to bring out more layers. It's a truly powerful song that will stand the test of time. The range of notes Sia hits and the texture of her sound blows the other nominees out of the water. This song is also up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video, but Sia shines especially bright in this performance category. You can hear the pain in her voice, you can feel her struggle.
  • Grammys 2015 Best R&B Performance Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Beyoncé's to Lose, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Brown to Compete

The R&B/Urban Contemporary Grammys are Beyoncé's to lose, if you take most experts' advice into play. Other nominees—including Jennifer Hudson, Chris Brown, Usher and Ledisi—would like to suggest otherwise however.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Country Solo Performance Nominees, Who Should & Will Win: Carrie Underwood, Eric Church & Miranda Lambert Square Off

The Best Country Solo Performance category is a tight one this year. We have two guitar hunks (Eric Church and Keith Urban) versus two of the genre's leading ladies (Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert). Oh, and let's not forget the newcomer (Hunter Hayes) who's representing with his equal parts heartbreaking, encouraging ballad, "Invisible."
  • Grammys 2015 Best Dance Recording, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: Disclosure, Clean Bandit, ZHU Battle It Out

The Grammys have never been known to get hip-hop right, but when it comes to electronic music, they have arguable been even worse. The category of Best Dance Recording was just created in 1998, even though the genre was invented in the United States in the late 1970s, early 1980s. Pop artists like Cher, Jent Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears have dominated the category over producer, DJs like Moby, Fatboy Slim, Justice, Daft Punk and Bassment Jaxx who have been snubbed by songs like Baha Men "Who Let The Dogs Out."2015 hold promise as the Grammy committee decided to make up their past transgressions and shocked the world with a surprising and deserving batch of nominees.
  • Grammys 2015 Best New Artist, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: It's Sam Smith's Award to Lose Against Iggy Azalea, Haim

For the 2015 Grammys, the Best New Artist field is wide and varied. You have two alternative rock acts (Haim, Bastille), soul (Sam Smith), rap (Iggy Azalea) and country (Brandy Clark). So, how do you even make a prediction when literally any one of these acts could take home that golden gramophone?
  • Grammys 2015 Best Rock Song Nominees, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: Jack White, Paramore and The Black Keys Duke It Out

On Monday, Feb. 2, we lamented the lack of experimentation in the 2015 Song of the Year category, and there is not much to be excited about in the Best Rock Song category, either. Album of the Year rivulet "Blue Moon" -- from Beck's "Morning Phase" -- is one of the favorites, along with Paramore's "Ain't It Fun" and Jack White's "Lazaretto." Who should win and who will win at the Grammys?
  • Grammys 2015 Best Urban Contemporary Album Nominees, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: Beyoncé, Pharrell, Chris Brown, Jhené Aiko, & Mali Music Battle For Award

Although we don't predict G I R L winning Album of the Year, the effort could fare well in the Urban Contemporary department, which in its third year as a category celebrates albums that include "the more contemporary elements of R&B and may incorporate production elements found in urban pop, urban Euro-pop, urban rock, and urban alternative." Pharrell is the face of contemporary production, and his latest effort splashes pop, funk, and dance onto its R&B canvas. The album also features heavyweight contributors Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk and Miley Cyrus, adding to its mainstream appeal.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Rap Performance Nominees, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: All Attention on Kendrick Lamar and Drake

Music Times considers the 2015 Grammy nominees for Best Rap Performance, featuring tracks from Eminem, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and Lecrae.
  • Grammys 2015 Album of the Year Nominees, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: Beyoncé, Beck & More Battle For Award

Beyoncé's surprise self-titled album will be hard to beat. It was, in the truest sense, the most influential album of the year. The effort was unprecedented as far as marketing, promotion and the massive visual component that tied everything together. With no prior promotion, it sold more than 828,773 copies in the first three days, which is impressive in an era where streaming and piracy are killing sales of actual downloads.
  • Grammys 2015 Record of the Year Nominees, Who Should Win & Who Will Win: Sam Smith, Sia & Taylor Swift Duke It Out

When it comes to the Grammys, sometimes it seems like it's all about the big four: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist. In a year filled with pop gems from every corner of the genre, this year's nominations for Record of the Year are stacked. From throwback singles from Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor to modern demonstrations of pop from Taylor Swift, Sia and Iggy Azalea, there seems to be no clear cut winner.
  • Grammys 2015 Song of the Year Nominees, Who Should Win and Who Will Win: Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor Do Battle

Song of the Year is perhaps the crux of the whole "The Grammys only care about Top 40 music" argument. Album of the Year and Record of the Year can be judged on sales without much moral handwringing, but Song of the Year? The actual craft of writing a song that resonates with millions while building upon centuries of human achievement? The Grammy 2015 nominees include Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor, and we will tell you who should win and who will win.
  • Grammys 2015 Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Nominees Who Should Win & Who Will Win: Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy' Takes On Jessie J's 'Bang Bang'

The category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the 2015 Grammy Awards has Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX's "Fancy" going up against Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's "Bang Bang." Katy Perry and Juicy J's "Dark Horse" could play spoiler while Coldplay and A Great Big World/Christina Aguilera occupy the underdog spots.
