It has been a few years since we have heard a new album from DMX, but today, Jan. 6, it was revealed that the New York rapper will be dropping his new album "Redemption of the Beast" next week. According to "Hot New Hip-Hop," this news broke through Amazon, who have placed the album up for pre-order and say it will drop Tuesday, Jan. 13. In addition to its release date, Amazon has also shared the album's tracklist and album cover, which you can check out below.According to a press release, via "Rap-Up," "Redemption of the Beast" will feature "X's signature, heavy-hitting, fast-paced lyrics, classic Ruff Ryder beats and moments of reflection on his experience in the rap game."Here is the album cover for "Redemption of the Beast":You can check out the album's tracklist here:01. Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys welcomed their second child into the world Saturday, Dec. 27. A boy, Genesis Ali Dean, was born in the morning hours over the weekend. The producer and the singer were ecstatic about the bonus holiday gift. Genesis is the younger brother of the couple's first child, Egypt."The joy of joy is joy!! DMX and Swiss Beatz Confirmed to be Teaming Up Again For Rapper's Next LP
DMX hasn't had a great 2013. Although the rapper has a long rap sheet of arrests, he's had various auto mishaps this year, including DUI and driving in possession of four packages of marijuana. Plus, footage emerged of a nude X running around a hotel. He wasn't charged with anything, but it still led many to question his mental shape. Producer Swiss Beatz wants to get DMX back to the place he was at the end of the decade however.
