The top 100 albums and singles has some local flavor with names like Flight Facilities and Hermitude getting love, but it is dominated by familiar global stars like Mark Ronson, Adele, Justin Bieber, Major Lazer and Ed Sheeran.

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer, who recently went on a year-long social media boycott, kept his parents close by buying them the house across the street from his very own flat in London. A sweet gesture regardless, but Sheeran did have a motive of his own-expectations that their close proximity's means his parents can watch his kids in the future.

    Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' fiery hit "Uptown Funk" ruled the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks at the top of the year, so it only makes since that it's the official No. 1 song of the year. On Wednesday, Billboard rolled out its year-end charts, and the Uptown Special single leads other chart-topping hits, including "See You Again," "Blank Space" and "The Hills."

    Adele's new album 25 may have just come out two-and-a-half weeks ago, but her massive sales are enough to top iTunes top-selling albums of 2015 list. On Wednesday (Dec. 9), Apple revealed the top 20 biggest records of the year, which includes, of course, 25 alongside some of the year's other massive releases from major acts.

Set up in a dodgy alleyway, the duo tried reeling in streetwalkers for a $2 concert by the "Thinking Out Loud" singer, which really meant his clothes would stay on and he would serenade prospective buyers.
