• LeAnn Rimes Still Trying to Convince Everyone That Eddie Cibrian's Her 'Soulmate'

LeAnn Rimes has been making the media rounds to promote her new Christmas album, but of course the main topic of discussion always ends up being her marriage to Eddie Cibrian. At some point in time, Rimes may choose to simply make peace with the fact that people really do not like them as a couple and get on with her life, but she is not exactly there yet. Remember their reality show on VH1 last summer? The ratings were horrendous and Rimes and Cibrian seemed to think that mocking the press would be their ticket to getting fans back in their back pockets. Obviously, that was an epic fail. So Rimes is back to her more normal approach of praising her husband and hoping that her fans will forget how she has said that she fears he will eventually cheat on her. Remember, these two first hooked up while married to other people and, for whatever reason, it was an indiscretion that fans never accepted. In an interview with Mail on Sunday, Rimes explained: "I was meant to be with Eddie. Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they've grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that's impossible to turn around. Trust me, we both tried. Look, I've said 'I'm sorry' and made amends. Eddie is my soulmate — he and I completely get each other. We're opposites — I want to go shopping; he wants to ride dirt bikes — but we bring out the best in each other. Divorce is not an option for us. Obviously, if something horrible happened, I would have to take care of myself, but I don't see that happening."
  • Jason Knauf's 1st Job As New Royal Press Secretary? Make Prince William, Kate Middleton Look More Romantic

Just yesterday, Nov. 22, we told you that Jason Knauf was named the new press secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. The 30-year-old is considered an industry whiz and also new to the royal family, something William has insisted upon. He did not want to import a media handler who had worked either at Buckingham Palace or Clarence House for fear their loyalty could be divided. Knauf will have the young royals's best interests in mind, and it is going to be his job to promote them as a more modern family. Part of William and Middleton's media success has been attributed to the fact that they have been promoted as a fairly normal couple that just so happen to have important jobs and lots of cash. They like to do things commoners also do, and there now seems to be a push to make William seem a bit softer. "People" magazine featured an interview with British florist Paula Pryke, who just received the Order of the British Empire from William last week for exemplary service.
  • 'RHOBH's' Scores Highest Ratings for Premiere in Years Thanks To the Addition of Soap Stars' Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson

It looks like Bravo and Andy Cohen got their wish. Season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premiered last week and the numbers look really good. 2 million households tuned in to catch up with the ladies and that is a 25% ratings increase over last season. While series regulars Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, Kyle Richards and Kim Richards all returned it was likely the newcomers that helped to give those numbers a boost.
  • Can Justin Hartley's 'Y&R' Performance Live Up to Gauntlet Thrown Down by Michael Muhney?

Adam Newman finally returned to "The Young & the Restless" canvas last week by way of Justin Hartley's portrayal. While the character is not fully back in the Genoa City mix, Hartley has had enough interactive scenes to give viewers a feel for what is to come. The actor took over the role, which was recast after Michael Muhney was fired late last year amid a storm of controversy, knowing that he may have a bit of an uphill battle when it comes to winning over fans. Muhney's performance on "Y&R" kept longtime fans glued to their televisions, and after his last scenes finally aired this past January the show's ratings plummeted. Muhney's fans were vocal about how they were not going to support the show once he left it, and then they appeared to back up those words with action. Part of the issue was that Muhney was fired due to allegations of sexual harassment, and then not only were charges not filed, but "Y&R" actually considered rehiring him this past summer, leading many to believe he should never have been cut in the first place.
  • Bethany Mota Built an Empire by Focusing on Fans Rather Than Potential Fame

Bethany Mota's life is pretty incredible right now. The 19-year old first took to YouTube about five years ago with a series of style videos and DIY projects that inspired a nation of tween girls. Flash-forward a few years and Mota is now one of the most successful Vlogger's ever and it's something that she already has managed to build an empire on. She has already partnered with Forever 21, JC Penney and has an exclusive clothing line at Aeropostale. In case all of that doesn't keep the stunning teen busy enough, she is currently partnered with Derek Hough on "Dancing with the Stars".
  • Bravo Hoping to Save 'RHONJ' after Teresa Giudice Leaves by Bringing Back Caroline Manzo

Can Caroline Manzo save "The Real Housewives of New Jersey"? The Italian mom had enough of the crazy chaos and opted not to do season six of the reality show that just finished airing this week. Bravo gave her family their own spin off show, "Manzo'd with Children" that did even better than the network had hoped, solidifying what they already knew, Manzo has a huge fan base. That's something that could come in serious handy if RHONJ has any hope of returning for a seventh season, especially since Teresa Giudice will be reporting to a Connecticut prison camp in less than two months.
  • Robert Pattinson Rumored to Be 'In Love' During a PDA-Filled Weekend in NYC with FKA Twigs

When Robert Pattinson first started popping up with FKA Twigs a few months ago many people seemed to think that it was just a casual thing that would fizzle out. Instead these two seem to be getting stronger every day and their weekend trip to NYC was laced with PDA. Pattinson headed to the Big Apple with Twigs to support her show in Brooklyn at Terminal 5 and they couldn't have seemed much tighter.
  • AMC Uses 'Walking Dead' Fans to Push DirecTV to Renew Contract Before Blackout

"The Walking Dead" may be equaling ratings gold for AMC since its return to the Sunday night line-up, with the series actually topping "Sunday Night Football," but there is actually some trouble brewing behind the scenes. The network first tipped off fans last night to the fact that its current contract with DirecTV as a carrier is set to expire in a few weeks. While you would think the provider would be jumping through hoops to secure AMC Networks, that simply is not the case.
  • Soap Vet Eileen Davidson's 'DAYS' Run Wrapping Up for Her 'RHOBH' Debut

Soap vet Eileen Davidson is one of the busiest women working in daytime television. She is currently starring on "The Young and the Restless" as Ashley Abbott, a character she created back in the 1980s. She is also filming for the upcoming season of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and later this week she will end her run on "Days of Our Lives" as the mischievous Kristen DiMera. Davidson had signed on to bring DiMera back to Salem for a quick three-month run and her storyline will wrap up Nov. 6 just in time for her debut on Bravo.
  • Soap Star Alison Sweeney Pens Goodbye Letter to 'Days of our Lives' Fans

Alison Sweeney is a household name to any fan of daytime television. You don't have to be a Days of our Lives fan to appreciate the fact that she signed a contract with the show when she was barely old enough to drive and now, 22 years later she has finally decided to put her character of Sami Brady to rest, for now. While Sweeney actually filmed her final scenes last spring, her character was still onscreen until this past week when Sami and her kids left Salem for the bright lights of Hollywood. Fans of the actress are crushed to see her leave and as it turns out, the fan in Sweeney is going to miss Sami a lot too.
  • 'Dynasty's' Legendary Joan Collins Headed Back to Television with Guest Spot on 'Queens of Drama' Docu-Series

It looks like POP's new series "Queens of Drama" is ready to pull out all the stops to make sure soap fans young and old will decide to tune in. Producers had already stacked the deck with such talent as Vanessa Marcil, Donna Mills and Hunter Tylo when it was announced that Joan Collins will also be included in an episode. "Dynasty" fans still bow at Collins's feet for helping to propel primetime soaps into the mainstream.
  • Soap Star Freddie Smith Finally Addresses Fans While Recovering After Near-Fatal Accident with Alyssa Tabit

"Days of Our Lives" fans will be happy to hear that nearly three weeks after surviving a violent car crash, Feddie Smith is clearly on the mend. He and longtime girlfriend Alyssa Tabit were involved in a violent one-car crash in Kingsville Township, Ohio, earlier this month that left her in critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery. After a few weeks of silence, Smith finally reached out via his Facebook page to show a bit of gratitude, saying:
  • Justin Hartley Steps into Popular 'Young and the Restless' Role Vacated by Michael Muhney, Asks Fans for Feedback on His Portrayal of Popular Character

Justin Hartley might be a strong actor with several series — "Mistresses," "Revenge," "Smallville" — under his belt but that fact did not make taking on the popular role of Adam Newman on CBS's "The Young and the Restless" any easier. Michael Muhney exited the role last December under scandalous allegations, a situation that to this day does not add up. His departure left fans outraged, with many ultimately deciding that "Y&R" was no longer worth their time. When Hartley accepted the task of bringing the character back to Genoa City, he knew he was going to have his work cut out for him. He has decided to ask the fans for feedback on his portrayal.
  • Danity Kane Releases 'Tell Me,' Another Post-Split Track [LISTEN]

Danity Kane may not have been able to fully pull off putting the band back together again after an eight-year hiatus, but their fans are going to love "DK3" when it drops Oct. 28. A violent studio fight between Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day brought reunion plans to a halt in August and left fans wailing for the ladies to at least release the music. Two weeks ago, O'Day and fellow DK3 member Shannon Bex confirmed that the final album is coming, and yesterday they released another new track: "Tell Me."
  • Will 'The Blacklist' Crash And Burn Like Several Other Hotly Anticipated Shows Have?

We are only two weeks into the new fall season and already fans are weighing in on what shows are clicking- and what ones need to get it together quickly. At this time last season all eyes were glued to The Blacklist. James Spader seems unable to do any wrong while onscreen and his ingenious way of bringing Ray Reddington to life had instant fans begging for more. Throughout the season so many questions went unanswered which was cool for viewers' who love a slow build up as long as there is a pay off in the end. Unfortunately, creeping into season two something feels very off to fans. It's not the kind of thing that you can put your finger on either, it's just not working as well it seems.
