• Is Gucci Mane Being Released From Prison Next Month?

It has been over a year since Gucci Mane was sentenced to prison for violating parole stemming from a firearm possession charge. Musically, Guwop has not missed a beat, releasing albums and mixtapes as if he had a home studio in his jail cell. Gucci isn't scheduled to be released from prison until late in 2016, but the #FREEGUWOP movement has been in full voice recently and signs point the Atlanta rapper possibly getting an early release.
  • Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Travis Barker and More: Face and Head Tattoos in Music

Young Thug shocked the world when he revealed that he had gotten an ice cream cone tattooed on his face in tribute to Gucci Mane. "Shocked" might be a bit of a stretch, considering that the rapper has been on a tear of unpredictable behavior since the release of his Barter 6 album. First he tried to cop the name Tha Carter 6 from Lil Wayne (and in an "unrelated" incident, his road manager was just arrested for allegedly shooting at Weezy's tour bus). The he got the "tribute" tattoo. What next? Will he start wearing clocks on chains as a "tribute" to Flava Flav? Anyway, all we have right now is that Young Thug got some fresh ink, and it's on his face. Here are six other prominent musicians that have used their heads as showcases for questionable art installations.

Young Thug always manages to keep things interesting. Whether it is beefing with Lil Wayne and The Game or being a character on social media, the "Stoner" rapper knows how to get attention. • Gucci Mane 'Trap God' Photo Exhibit Taking Place In Atlanta Church

Being a Trap God isn't easy, just ask Gucci Mane -- if you can get an appointment with him in jail. However, that isn't stopping one Atlanta photographer from showing off never before seen pictures of Guwop as an ode to the prolific Atlanta rapper. Cam Kirk is setting up an exhibit in an abandoned church in East Atlanta with pictures, actors and various other interactive elements that make this unique.
  • Fredo Santana Releases 'Aint No Money Like Trap Money Volume 1'

Frequent Chief Keef collaborator, Fredo Santana has released a new mixtape Ain't No Money Like Trap Money Volume 1. The Chicago MC has released the full 15-track project with a whole host of big name features. Of the 15 tracks on the 15 tracks on the tape, only two are solo and he made sure those features were worth it. He was able to get names like his cousin Chief Keef, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk and Kevin Gates on the tape. Of course, when you have a project like this that is so street-driven, Gucci Mane is going to appear and there he is on "Play With Your Children."
  • Gucci Mane Releases 'King Gucci' Mixtape

It has been over one month since we had a new album or mixtape from the most prolific incarcerated rapper alive, Gucci Mane. However, Guwop has blessed up with a brand new, 10-track mixtape titled King Gucci today as a total surprise. His previous project this year have been dropped without warning, so it shouldn't be too surprising to see this one released how it was. The tape features some of the usual suspects including production from Atlanta producer Zaytoven, as well as verses from Migos, Fetty Wap, RiFF RAFF and many more.

These two remixes follow up a previous rework from New York MCs French Montana and Fabolous. The original mix has been everywhere on the radio, charts and on TV as Fetty Wap, real name Willie Maxwell, has gone from a unknown rapper in Paterson, New Jersey to an artist with star potential.
  • Jeremih, Gucci Mane Tease "Money Do"

The long and confusing saga of Jeremih's upcoming album Late Nights: The Album continues with the unveiling of a snippet of a new track that will presumably be a part of it. Jeremih uploaded a 1:47 clip of his new song "Money Do" featuring the vocals of still incarcerated Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane. Jeremih, who normally takes reigns on the hooks, flips the script with this one and leaves that job to Guwop, while leaving the soft and sensitive side of his artistic persona at the door for tougher sing/rap verses.
  • Are Gucci Mane and Diplo Making An Album Together?

We cannot say that we saw this one coming. According to Gucci Mane's Twitter account, which is probably managed by his manager because it is doubtful they give Gucci Twitter privileges in prison, Guwop is making an album with Diplo. Gucci originally called it "an EDM album," but Diplo later clarified that while they were working on something, there wasn't going to be anything EDM about it.

The mixtape is largely just an exposé of Guwop trap music, but he does bring on some of his favorite collaborators, including Chief Keef, Young Thug and Peewee Longway.
