    J. Cole has dusted off his producer chops and gone into the studio to take on one of his most important tracks to date. The 2014 Forest Hills Drive rapper has released his remix of A Tribe Called Quest's seminal track "Can I Kick It" for the 25th year anniversary rerelease of their groundbreaking album People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm.

    Last night New Jersey was treated to special night of hip-hop with J. Cole and Big Sean bringing their 2014 Forest Hills Drive joint tour with special guests YG, Jeremih and Bas, Cozz and Omen. Reports about the actual concert at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel were positive, but the night ended in violence for a few individuals outside of the venue. According to police reports, at least two people were shot after the show.
