    Awards Season has officially begun. The Grammys are just weeks away, and now the nominees for the 2014 Brit Awards have been announces. At the top of the list are two British acts, Disclosure (collaborator Sam Smith just won BBC's Sound of 2014) and Bastille, who have four nominations each. Despite not being up for any Grammy nominations (likely due to not being eligible this year), One Direction has been nominated as well for British Single and British Group.

According to Rolling Stone, she supplemented her income with merchandise sales, her Material Girl clothing line and her "Truth or Dare" fragrance.
