Nearly 20 years ago campy horror flicks were super-popular thanks to the crazy success of a not so little film called Scream. Not only did that make a mint but it also paved the way for a new breed of classic horror films with I Know What You Did Last Summer leading the pack. It was centered on four teenagers who accidentally ran over a pedestrian in the summer of 1996. The following year a hooded killer decided to exact revenge on the teens- hence the movie title. The original film grossed $120 million worldwide and spun off two sequels. Fans will be thrilled to learn that the original is going to be rebooted in 2016. -

A stunned silence washed over a Pretoria, South African court room today as Judge Thokozile Masipa let it be known that she has not found Oscar Pistorius guilty of premeditated murder. In a long, detailed statement the presiding judge informed those in attendance that she didn't believe that the prosecution presented a strong enough case to convince her that Oscar had intentionally fired four shots through a bathroom door intending to kill his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. -

The trial of double-amputee track star Oscar Pistorius is scheduled to wrap up tomorrow after nearly six months of testimony from 37 witnesses. The former Olympian has been charged with premeditated murder, firing a gun in an open space and illegally possessing ammunition in connection to the Valentine's Day 2013 murder of his then-girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
