  • Gwen Stefani Solo: No Doubt Vocalist Announces First Individual Show in Six Years at Los Angeles Orpheum...Is Full Tour Coming?

    Everyone knew it had to be coming but that doesn't mean that the formal announcement is any less exciting for fans: Gwen Stefani has booked her first solo performance in six years, announcing a one-off gig at the Orpheum in Los Angeles on February 7. The pop vocalist had previously announced that she'll be looking to release a new album during 2015.

    The biggest music festival debut in the United States this year may very well be Rock in Rio, which will head to Las Vegas for two huge weekends in May. The festival added more firepower to a show already featuring headlining sets from Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Metallica and more. Sam Smith, Charli XCX, Jessie J, Bleachers, Tove Lo, Empire of The Sun and Echosmith are the latest performers to be added to the lineup as of Tuesday.

    It has become customary for festivals to put their tickets on sale before a lineup is announced and expect fans to buy them based on the brand name. Festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland are able to do this because they deliver quality lineups each year, but for those who have not built up the cache with music fans, it is important to use a lineup announcement to drive ticket sales. California festival BottleRock has announced its full lineup with a big cast of acts that include headliners Robert Plant, Imagine Dragons, No Doubt, The Avett Brothers and Foster the People, with a diverse group of indie, folk, rock and hip-hop acts like Passion Pit, Public Enemy, Portugal. The Man, The Iron Heart — one of our 2015 artists to watch, Zella Day and more.The festival takes place at the beginning of summer, between May 29 and 31, in the heart of Napa Valley to bring you all the finest local bottles one could desire.Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Jan 8., at 10 a.m. PST.Check out the full lineup below, via "Billboard."
