Covering songs is a creative way for artists to pay homage to fellow musicians, and Peter Gabriel put together a project back in 2010 that is finally coming full circle. He released Scratch My Back a few years ago, in which he covered songs by Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, Lou Reed, Randy Newman and others. Now, those artists' renditions of Gabriel's songs will be out in the cleverly titled And I'll Scratch Yours Jan. 7. -

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has officially announced the class of 2014. Next year, Nirvana, Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt will be inducted, according to Rolling Stone. The E Street Band will be given the Award for Musical Excellence and Beatles manager Brian Epstein and original Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham will be recipients of the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers. -
