The Duchess of Cambridge was scheduled to travel to Malta this weekend and it was a huge deal because this would have been her first solo trip as a member of the royal family. Clarence House announced this morning that Kate is now too ill to travel and her husband, Prince William will instead travel in her place. The trip was originally scheduled to be made by Queen Elizabeth but she passed it to Kate due to her own failing health.

    Finally we can all stop contemplating whether or not Kate Middleton is really pregnant because official confirmation was announced this morning. Clarence House announced that Prince William's wife, The Duchess of Cambridge is indeed expecting a second child next spring. Kate has also cleared her royal schedule for the near future due to another significant battle with severe morning sickness similar to what she experienced with Prince George in late 2012.
