    Don't believe him, just watch. For the seventh week in a row, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's throwback hit "Uptown Funk" dominates the Hot 100. Despite major publicity and sales boosts from the 2015 Grammys, new singles from Rihanna and Ed Sheeran were able to gain momentum but unable to grab that No. 1 spot.

Though it's been a great ride for the track, it may be over soon as two new songs from Rihanna and Ellie Goulding debut in the top 10 and two stars prep major music video debuts.

    Artists were in a good mood as they walked into the Grammys filled with hope and optimism that this might be their year to win a Grammy. This was the perfect time to ambush them on the red carpet for interviews and pry loose details about what lies in store for many of the biggest artists in the world during the upcoming year. One of the hottest new names in the music business right now, ILoveMakonnen (real name Makonnen Sheran) was stopped by MTV before he managed to get inside for the pre-telecast and asked him about his plans in 2015. The "Tuesday" rapper revealed he is working with some really big names including Rihanna, Drake, Snoop Dogg, Diplo and Skrillex.

    One man was shot dead outside a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles last night, Feb. 7, after a reported argument. According to TMZ, two men were involved in a dispute outside the Supperclub. The fight resulted in the shooting death of one man. An array of hip-hop talent was in the club, including Wiz Khalifa, Schoolboy Q, DJ Paul and Snoop Dogg.

The 2015 nominees are a little different, with inclusions from Common, Schoolboy Q and ILoveMakonnen with the assist from Drake, but otherwise star power rules the day. The argument of who should win and who will win will rage on long after the Grammys are over and is always divisive, but we took our best crack at it.

    Now that Kanye West and Rihanna have linked up on a track -- with Paul McCartney, no less -- the pair might be trying to tour together, too, following their Grammy appearance. According to "HotNewHipHop," the "Umbrella" singer tweeted out a link to the Diamond Ball auction in December in order to help out the Clara Lionel Foundation. One item available for bidding is a "Kanye West Tour Experience" package, which includes VIP tickets to one date on the rapper's upcoming 2015 tour.
