    The Voice season eight will be getting a little bit of a throwback next week when three of the show's former coaches will return to the competition as one-off mentors. Last night (April 21) on air, Carson Daly announced that the show's alumni CeeLo Green, Usher and Gwen Stefani will be back to bring their wisdom to the top eight.

    The Voice season eight is continuing to cut singers by the pair. Tonight (April 21), the top 10 were cut down to a rounded out eight. Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams' teams went by unscathed, while Adam Levine's team continued to be trimmed down and Christina Aguilera lost her first singer.
