• 'The Voice' Season 9 Recap, Review: Knockout Rounds End with Big Pharrell Steal

    The knockout rounds of The Voice came to a close on Monday night (Nov. 2) after just three (long) episodes. For the final episode of this installment, you would think that the show would really pull out the big guns with some of the best performances of the year. And, while everyone was solid, there was nothing that like blew my socks off. And for a year that has a decent amount of talent, that's a little odd.

    Rihanna continues to expand her movie portfolio and is now set to star in Valerian, the new sci-fi film by French director and producer Luc Besson. Besson is best known for his work on off-beat sci-fi thrillers such as The Fifth Element. This isn't the pop star's first foray into the movie business, as she was featured in Battleship released in 2012, This Is The End in 2013 and then two years later had a part in 2015's Annie, produced by Will Smith.

    In the spirit of Halloween, electronic producer/DJ Dillon Francis has dropped the creepy music video for his track "All That," starring the artist's zombie alter-ego Dead Dillon. The track features Twista and The Rej3ctz and was released back in 2014 on the LA-born artist's debut album Money Sucks, Friends Rule. Both Francis and his song will be featured in the upcoming horror comedy film, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, which comes out October 30th.

On Tuesday night (Oct. 27), we got three more battles courtesy of Team Gwen Stefani, Team Adam Levine and Team Pharrell, and unlike Monday night's episode, the second installment of the knockout didn't quite include so many shocking eliminations.

But "Hotline Bling" wasn't the only song that the quintet performed during the tongue n' chic marathon of various tunes. Newly divorced Stefani was dressed to the nines in a slick black dress and stiletto heels, while he co-workers were much more casual.
