“Once Upon a Time” returns for its seventh season on October 6 with the episode titled “Hyperion Heights.” The new season will find the Evil Queen, Captain Hook and Rumplestiltskin joining forces with the now grown-up Henry Mills and his daughter Lucy. Together, the former residents of the enchanted forest will face their greatest challenge yet.

In the premiere episode of Season 7 of “Once Upon a Time,” Henry leaves Storybrooke in search for his own story. His quest, however, will be change its course forever when he meets a troubled Cinderella in another realm years later.

Henry will also be forced to make difficult choices when Cinderella’s evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, poses a threat. After the passage of time, Lucy will find a disillusioned Henry at his Seattle home. She is determined to make her father remember his true self in order to defeat the curse that was cast on the fairytale characters of Hyperion Heights reports Fansided.

Much have been said about the new season premiere of “Once Upon a Time” being much like the pilot episode. This is because the new season has been often referred to as a soft reboot of the series. This, however, has been denied by series co-creator Adam Horowitz.

Although both of the characters of the pilot and the upcoming one deal with a curse, the implications will be different according to Wetpaint. “We're not doing what we did in the pilot, which is a curse hits and rips everyone away [from their lives],” Horowitz explained.

The coming “Once Upon a Time” season premiere will not be about the curse at all or how and when it happened. Horowitz said they’re doing everything in a different way.

Meanwhile, “Once Upon a Time” will have a new Rapunzel when it returns. She will be played by Meegan Wagner. The character first appeared in Season 3 and was previously played by Alexandra Metz. Reportedly, the new Rapunzel will be trapped inside a tower by an evil sorceress. She will do everything to break the spell and make the sorceress pay for what she’s done.
