While Clarkson has gone through much in the past few years, her physical health seems to have taken a toll. However, she's very candid and transparent as to what her journey has been like.

More than hitting the gym and her dedication to her weight loss journey, Kelly Clarkson has a dire need to shed some pounds.

In a conversation with Kevin James on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," the Emmy-winning host opened up about her physical health after receiving compliments from the comedian. (via People Magazine)

"Well, I was told I was pre-diabetic," she casually confessed. "That's literally what happened... and well, I wasn't shocked. I was a tiny bit overweight."

However, Clarkson wasn't fazed by the diagnosis.

"They were like, 'You're pre-diabetic. You're right on the borderline.' And I was like, 'But I'm not there yet,'" she added. "And then I waited two years and then I was like OK, I'll do something about it."

Fans have been curious what Kelly Clarkson's weight loss secret is. Some are even speculating that she might have taken Ozempic to fast-track her slimmer figure.

For those who do not know, Ozempic is a pill used for patients with Type-2 diabetes to improve their blood sugar levels. However, one of its very glaring side effects is weight loss, which is why celebrities use it to fast-track their weight loss journey without having to bear the effects of having their bodies cosmetically altered.

Kelly Clarkson's transformation has been one of the few things she is proud of recently.

Kelly Clarkson Weight Loss Secret: Gym, Eating Healthy

Speaking to People Magazine, Clarkson revealed that part of her journey for a fresh new start in New York City is getting back in shape.

"Walking in the city is quite the workout," she told the publication. "And I'm really into infrared saunas right now. And I just got a cold plunge because everybody wore me down."

Aside from walking and other new hobbies, Clarkson admitted that she started listening to her doctor more.

"I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I've been listening to my doctor - a couple years I didn't. And 90 percent of the time I'm really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I'm a Texas girl, so I like meat - sorry, vegetarians in the world!" she went on to say.
