Kelly Clarkson is reportedly now eagerly re-entering the dating scene following her tumultuous divorce from Brandon Blackstock.

The famed Grammy award-winner has never shied away from expressing the difficulties she has faced in trying to heal and move forward since parting ways with her former husband.

According to a source familiar with "The Kelly Clarkson Show" host, there may be a positive change on the horizon for Kelly's love life.

Despite not having found love since her divorce, the "Since U Been Gone Singer" has made significant progress in rebuilding her life.

The insider, who spoke to The Sun, revealed that Kelly's divorce turned out to be far more complicated and lengthy than anticipated, mainly due to Brandon's deep involvement in the music aspect of her career.

"She now has room in her life for somebody new but she only has one route to meet that person, and that's via getting set up, which she says she is open to if the matchmaker is somebody she trusts."

The source went on to say, "The problem continues to be that Kelly is very tightly scheduled and lives in a bubble between her mom's duties at home and her talk show's taping schedule."

Love After Heartbreak

As her beloved talk show goes on hiatus in June, she will have the entire summer ahead, with no commitments to hinder her pursuit of love and companionship.

These exciting prospects are in store for Kelly Clarkson.

In 2020, the "Breakaway" singer decided to legally separate from her ex-husband, who happened to be the son of Narvel Blackstock, her former manager, and the stepson of the country music icon, Reba McEntire.

The grounds for their divorce were irreconcilable differences, leading them to part ways.

In a recent interview, Kelly candidly discussed the profound impact that her divorce had on her mental health.

The mom-of-two bravely opened up about her struggles with depression and intense feelings of loneliness during that challenging period.

According to another insider, Kelly is currently prioritizing her role as a devoted mother and dedicating her energy to her successful show.

"The release of Kelly's 'Chemistry' album last year was a big step forward for her because it was her first release in many years that Brandon wasn't involved in at all."

"Kelly needed to take control of that process and see it through herself. "It allowed her to turn the page and make a fresh start for herself, but a new relationship hasn't materialized yet."
