Fans have been worried about Jon Bon Jovi after he suffered from problems with his vocals, but today, the singer is ready to address his health and he gave his fans an update about the current state of his well-being.

The Bon Jovi frontman recently attended the Pollstar Live! conference, an event that awarded the Milestone Award for his group's 40th-year in the music industry.

During the question and answer part of the program, he noted that it's become a public knowledge that he underwent reconstructive surgery in his vocal cords and he never experienced something like that ever in his life.

"it's been a difficult road, but I found a doctor in Philadelphia who did something called a medialization, because one of my cords was literally atrophied," he added.

The singer further discussed that it was a difficult past ten years for him because what he suffered from was something out of his control.

The reason why doctors do this is for the functioning vocal cords can regain normal voice as well as a person's ability to swallow.

Bon Jovi further discussed about his condition, saying his strong vocal cord was taking what was left of the weak one so in his case, doctors added a plastic impact.
