2023 was a massive year for Beyoncé as she won several awards for her album "Renaissance" and went on to perform at different locations for her tour. For this year, it seems like the musician has bigger plans as she just announced a brand new album.

According to Rolling Stone, the singer concluded her "Renaissance World Tour" back in October and it only took her a few months to announce a new record which fans didn't expect.

The singer appeared in a commercial for Verizon at the Super Bowl which highlighted her attempts to break the internet by selling Lemonade, being a Barbie called "Barbey," going to space to perform, and more.

At the end of the advertisement, Beyoncé said "drop the music" then fans were sent into frenzy as they didn't know what's coming next.

Beyoncé New Album 'Act II' Coming This March 2024

Right after the commercial aired, Beyoncé took to her social media accounts to confirm that her eighth studio album titled "Act II" will be released.

The new record will be available for streaming on major music platforms starting on March 29, 2024. This will serve as a second part of her 2022 album "Renaissance" which is said to be divided into three parts.

What to Expect From Beyoncé's New Album?

According to Vulture, Beyoncé's teaser for her new album is filled with country radio imagrey and it showed her gazing at a billboard with the text "You look lonely, I can fix that."

There have been a speculation that the musician's new era will revolve around country music as she also wore a cowboy hat at the Grammys.

As of this writing, the musician released two tracks from her album, the first and last one out of the 16-track record, titled "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages," both tracks have sounds of country music.

Fans took to social media to react to the announcement, with one writing, "Y'all we were right act ii is a country album."

"Now I need ANOTHER cowgirl hat and more BEWTS! I'm not playing with ya'll!! #actii," one wrote.

As of this writing, Beyoncé has yet to share more information about the album. The official tracklist has yet to be announced and fans will have to wait for the next few weeks for her to drop more hints about the record.
